CLIMATE AND ENERGY FINANCE AND POLICY MINUTES

Representative Larry Kraft, Vice Chair of the Committee on Climate and Energy Finance and Policy, called the meeting to order at 3:01 PM on April 3, 2024, in Room 200 of the State Office Building.

The Committee Legislative Assistant noted the roll.

A quorum was present.

Representative Mekeland moved that the minutes from April 2, 2024 be approved. THE MOTION PREVAILED.

HF 5097 (Acomb) – Initiation of proceeding at Public Utilities Commission regarding cost allocation of distribution system upgrades required, interconnection ombudsperson position at Public Utilities Commission established, and interconnection applications surcharge established.

Chair Acomb moved that HF 5097 be laid over for possible inclusion.

Chair Acomb moved the A1 amendment to HF 5097. THE MOTION PREVAILED. THE AMENDMENT WAS ADOPTED.

Chair Acomb presented HF 5097 as amended.
