HUMAN SERVICES FINANCE COMMITTEE MEETING MINUTES

Representative Mohamud Noor, Chair of the Committee on Human Services Finance, called the meeting to order at 1:00 PM on March 12th, 2024, in Room 200 of the State Office Building.

The Committee Legislative Assistant noted the roll.

Vice Chair Bahner moved that the minutes of March 7th, 2024, be adopted. THE MOTION PREVAILED.

HF4514 (Youakim)- Commissioner of human services directed to develop covered benefit for integrated health services, demonstration project created, report required, and money appropriated.

Chair Noor moved HF4514 before the committee.

Chair Noor moved HF4514 to be referred to the Committee on Health Finance & Policy.

Representative Youakim presented HF4514 before the committee.

HF3939(Curran)- Community residential settings licensing moratorium exception process exemption provides for facilities currently licensed as supervised living facilities.

Chair Noor moved HF3939 before the committee.

Chair Noor moved HF3939 to be laid over.

Representative Curran presented HF3939 before the committee.

Chair Noor moved HF4220 before the committee.

Chair Noor moved the A2 Amendment to HF4220. THE MOTION PREVAILED. THE AMENDMENT WAS ADOPTED.

Representative Lee presented HF4220 as amended before the committee.
