HUMAN SERVICES POLICY COMMITTEE MINUTES

Representative Peter Fischer, Chair of the Committee on Human Services Policy called the meeting to order at 1:00 pm on Wednesday, February 19, 2024 in room 200 of the State Office Building.

The Committee Legislative Assistant noted the roll.

Representative Frederick moved to approve the minutes from February 14. THE MOTION PREVAILED.


HF 3098 (Hicks) Somali mental health pilot project funding provided, and money appropriated

Rep Hicks moved HF 3098 to be laid over.

Rep. Hicks moved the A-1 authors amendment. THE MOTION PREVAILED.

Rep Hicks presented the bill as amended.

Rep. Hicks moved that HF 3419 be referred to the Human Services Finance Committee.

Chair Fischer moved that HF 3533 be referred to the Health Finance and Policy Committee.

Chair Fischer presented the bill.
