MINUTES

Representative Peter Fischer, Chair of the Committee on Human Services Policy called the meeting to order at 1:00 pm on Wednesday, February 26, 2024 in room 200 of the State Office Building.

The Committee Legislative Assistant noted the roll.

Representative Noor moved to approve the minutes from February 19. THE MOTION PREVAILED.


HF 3646 (Pinto) - Statutory infrastructure created for the new Department of Children, Youth, and Families; and statutes moved and copied.

Chair Fischer moved to refer HF 3646 to State and Local Government Finance and Policy Committee.

Rep. Pinto presented the bill.

Chair Fischer renewed the motion that HF 3646 be referred to the State and Local Government Finance and Policy Committee. THE MOTION PREVAILED.


HF 3711 (Hicks) Modifying home and community-based services standards for out-of-home respite services for children

Rep. Hicks moved to refer HF 3711 to the Human Services Finance Committee

Rep. Hicks presented the bill.
