JUDICIARY FINANCE AND CIVIL LAW COMMITTEE MEETING MINUTES

Representative Jamie Becker-Finn, Chair of the Committee on Judiciary Finance and Civil Law, called the meeting to order at 8:30 A.M. on February 29, 2024, in Room 5 of the State Office Building.

The Committee Legislative Assistant noted the roll.

Representative Scott moved that the minutes of February 22, 2024, be adopted. THE MOTION PREVAILED.

HF 4021 (Frederick) Changes made to provisions in Minnesota Human Rights Act, and civil penalty and punitive damages provided.

Representative Frederick moved that HF 4021 be recommended to be placed on the General Register.

Representative Frederick moved the H4021A3 amendment. THE MOTION PREVAILED. THE AMENDMENT WAS ADOPTED.

Representative Frederick presented HF 4021 as amended.
