JUDICIARY FINANCE AND CIVIL LAW COMMITTEE MEETING MINUTES

Representative Jamie Becker-Finn, Chair of the Committee on Judiciary Finance and Civil Law, called the meeting to order at 8:30 A.M. on March 22, 2024, in Room 5 of the State Office Building.

The Committee Legislative Assistant noted the roll.

Representative Curran moved that the minutes of March 21, 2024, be adopted. THE MOTION PREVAILED.

HF 4558 (Hollins) Single-metered utility service in residential buildings provided for and regulated.

Chair Becker-Finn moved that HF 4558 be recommended to be placed on the General Register.

Chair Becker-Finn moved the H4558DE2 amendment. THE MOTION PREVAILED. THE AMENDMENT WAS ADOPTED.

Representative Hollins presented HF 4558 as amended.

Chair Becker-Finn moved that HF 4286 be placed on the General Register.

Representative Frederick moved that HF 5013 be recommended to be placed on the General Register.

Representative Frederick renewed the motion that HF 5013 be recommended to be placed on the General Register. THE MOTION PREVAILED.

Chair Becker-Finn moved HF 685 before the Judiciary Finance and Civil Law Committee.

Chair Becker-Finn moved the H0685A1 amendment. THE MOTION PREVAILED. THE AMENDMENT WAS ADOPTED.

Representative Agbaje presented HF 685 as amended.
