EDUCATION FINANCE COMMITTEE MINUTES

Representative Cheryl Youakim, Chair of the Education Finance Committee, called the meeting to order at 10:33 AM on March 21, 2024, in Basement Hearing Room of the State Office Building.

The Committee Legislative Assistant noted the roll.

Representative Jordan moved that the minutes from March 19th, 2024, with a technical correction, be adopted. THE MOTION PREVAILED.

HF 3803 (Norris) Stipends required to be paid to student teachers, and money appropriated.

Chair Youakim moved HF 3803 before the committee.

HF 4615 (Clardy) Center for Applied Research and Educational Improvement grant funding authorized to conduct a survey of Minnesota principals, and money appropriated.
Vice Chair Clardy moved HF 4615 before the committee.
