LABOR AND INDUSTRY FINANCE AND POLICY COMMITTEE MINUTES

Representative Michael V. Nelson, Chair of the Labor and Industry Finance and Policy Committee, called the meeting to order at 1:01 P.M. on March 21st, in Room 10 of the State Office Building. It was broadcast via House Public Information Services.

Representative Jordan moved that the minutes of March 19, 2024, be adopted. THE MOTION PREVAILED.

HF 4994 (Coulter) Prevailing wage required for financial assistance.

Chair Nelson move that HF 4994 be re-referred to the Taxes Committee.

Chair Nelson moved the H4994DE3 amendment. THE MOTION PREVAILED. THE AMENDMENT WAS ADOPTED.

Chair Nelson renewed his motion that HF 4994 be re-referred to the Taxes Committee. THE MOTION PREVAILED.

HF 3275 (Hansen) A resolution memorializing Congress that the Legislature of the State of Minnesota reaffirms its ratification of the Child Labor Amendment to the United States Constitution.

Chair Nelson moved that HF 3275 be re-referred to the General Register.

Chair Nelson renewed his motion that HF 3275 be re-referred to the General Register. THE MOTION PREVAILED.

HF 3947 (Nelson, M) Construction codes and licensing provisions policy and technical changes.

Representative Nelson moved that HF 3947 be laid over for possible inclusion in the omnibus bill.

Representative Berg moved the H4818A2 amendment. THE MOTION PREVAILED. THE AMENDMENT WAS ADOPTED.
