Rules and Legislative Administration Committee Minutes

Representative Jamie Long, Chair of the Committee on Rules and Legislative Administration, called the virtual meeting to order at 11:02 am on November 29, 2023, in the SOB Basement.

A quorum was present.

Leader Demuth moved the minutes from Wednesday June 7th. THE MOTION PREVAILED.

Chair Long moved the 2024-2025 LCC Legislative Plan for Employee Benefits. Kelly Knight, Director of Human Resources of the Minnesota House of Representatives Human Services Department, testified on the Resolution.THE MOTION PREVAILED.

Chair Long moved the 2023-P3J Policy on Compensatory Time, Non-Exempt Overtime, and the Time Card Policy. Kelly Knight, Director of Human Resources of the Minnesota House of Representatives Human Services Department, testified on the Resolution.THE MOTION PREVAILED.

Chair Long moved the 3/31/23 Legal Invoice re: Legislative Recall Petitions. Barb Juleich, Controller and Chief Financial Officer of Budget and Accounting of the Minnesota House of Representatives Budget and Accounting Department, testified on the Resolution.THE MOTION PREVAILED.

Representative Robbins moved to rescind House 2022-R30O Rules Resolution on State Office Building Improvement and Expansion.

Representative Robbins requested a roll call.

Chair Long ruled the motion out of order.

Representative Robbins moved to appeal the ruling of the Chair

Robbins requested a roll call.
