Representative Ginny Klevorn, Chair of the State and Local Government Finance and Policy Committee, called the meeting to order at 8:31 A.M. on Tuesday, March 5, 2024, in Room 10 of the State Office Building.

The Committee Legislative Assistant noted the roll.

Representative Huot moved to approve the minutes from February 29, 2024. THE MOTION PREVAILED.

HF3677 (Elkins); Counties authorized to appropriate money to organizations to defray
expenses of Veterans Day exercises.

Chair Klevorn moved that HF3677 be re-referred to the Veterans and Military Affairs Finance and Policy Committee.

Representative Elkins presented HF3677.

Chair Klevorn renewed the motion that HF3677 be re-referred to the Veterans and Military Affairs Finance and Policy Committee. THE MOTION PREVAILED.

HF3606 (Stephenson); Board of Architecture, Engineering, Land Surveying, Landscape
Architecture, Geoscience, and Interior Design required to provide notice by email to
license and certificate holders whose license or certificate is about to expire.

Chair Klevorn moved that HF3606 be laid over for possible inclusion in the State and Local Government Finance and Policy omnibus bill.

Chair Klevorn moved that HF3483 be laid over for possible inclusion in the State and Local Government Finance and Policy omnibus bill.

Chair Klevorn moved the H3843A6 amendment. THE MOTION PREVAILED. THE AMENDMENT WAS ADOPTED.

Representative Feist presented HF3483 as amended.
