Representative Ginny Klevorn, Chair of the State and Local Government Finance and Policy Committee, called the meeting to order at 8:31 A.M. on Tuesday, March 12, 2024, in Room 10 of the State Office Building.

The Committee Legislative Assistant noted the roll.

Representative Nash moved to approve the minutes from March 7, 2024. THE MOTION PREVAILED.

HF2309 (Elkins); Rights given to consumers regarding personal data,
obligations placed on businesses regarding consumer data, and enforcement by attorney general provided.

Chair Klevorn moved that HF2309 be re-referred to the Ways and Means Committee.

Chair Klevorn moved the H2309A6 amendment. THE MOTION PREVAILED. THE AMENDMENT WAS ADOPTED.

Representative Elkins presented HF2309 as amended.

authorized.

Chair Klevorn moved that HF3577 be re-referred to the Judiciary Finance and Civil Law Committee.

Chair Klevorn moved the H3577A3 amendment. THE MOTION PREVAILED. THE AMENDMENT WAS ADOPTED.
