TAXES COMMITTEE MINUTES

Representative Aisha Gomez, Chair of the Committee on Taxes, called the meeting to order at 9:05 AM on April 20, 2023 in Room 5 of the State Office Building.

The Committee Legislative Assistant noted the roll.

Vice Chair Norris moved the minutes of April 19, 2023. THE MOTION PREVAILED.

HF2 (Richardson) Family and medical benefit insurance program created, employment leave required, private plan substitution allowed, retaliation prohibited, data classified, expedited rulemaking authorized, and money appropriated.

Chair Gomez moved that HF2 be referred to the Committee on Ways and Means.

Chair Gomez moved the H2A52 amendment.

Testifying on the HF2, as proposed to be amended by the H2A52 amendment:

Chair Gomez moved that HF1372 be referred to the General Register.
