PROPERTY TAX DIVISION MINUTES

Representative Dave Lislegard, Chair of the Division on Property Tax, called the meeting to order at 10:32 A.M. on March 20, 2024, in Room 5 of the State Office Building.

The Committee Legislative Assistant noted the roll.

A quorum was present.

Representative Gomez moved that the minutes of March 13, 2024, be adopted. THE MOTION PREVAILED.

Chair Lislegard moved that HF 4990 be laid over for possible inclusion in the Property Tax Division Report.

Representative Davids presented HF 4990.

Testifying on the bill:

Chair Lislegard renewed his motion that HF 4990 be laid over for possible inclusion in the Property Tax Division Report. The bill was laid over.

Chair Lislegard moved that HF 4942 be laid over for possible inclusion in the Property Tax Division Report.

Representative Youakim presented HF 4942.

Chair Lislegard renewed his motion that HF 4942 be laid over for possible inclusion in the Property Tax Division Report. The bill was laid over.

Chair Lislegard moved that HF 4973 be laid over for possible inclusion in the Property Tax Division Report.

Representative Pinto presented HF 4973.

Chair Lislegard renewed his motion that HF 4973 be laid over for possible inclusion in the Property Tax Division Report. The bill was laid over.

Chair Lislegard moved that HF 2436 be laid over for possible inclusion in the Property Tax Division Report.

Chair Lislegard moved the H2436A1 amendment for adoption.

Representative Hansen presented the H2436A1 amendment.

Chair Lislegard renewed the H4301A1 amendment for adoption. THE MOTION PREVAILED AND THE AMENDMENT WAS ADOPTED.

Representative Hansen presented HF 2436 as amended.

Testifying on the bill:
• Ryan Garcia, City Administrator, City of South St. Paul.

Chair Lislegard renewed his motion that HF 2436 as amended be laid over for possible inclusion in the Property Tax Division Report. The bill was laid over.

Testimony may be limited to two minutes per testifier.
