PROPERTY TAX DIVISION MINUTES

Representative Dave Lislegard, Chair of the Division on Property Tax, called the meeting to order at 10:30 A.M. on March 27, 2024, in Room 5 of the State Office Building.

The Committee Legislative Assistant noted the roll.

A quorum was present.

Vice Chair Lee moved that the minutes of March 20, 2024, be adopted. THE MOTION PREVAILED.

Chair Lislegard moved that HF 5062 be laid over for possible inclusion in the Property Tax Division Report.

Representative Sencer-Mura presented HF 5062.

Testifying on the bill:
• Leonard Fineday, Secretary and Treasurer, Leech Lake Band of Ojibwe

Chair Lislegard renewed his motion that HF 5062 be laid over for possible inclusion in the Property Tax Division Report. The bill was laid over.

Vice Chair Lee moved that HF 3992 be re-referred to the Taxes Committee.

Chair Lislegard presented HF 3992.

Chair Lislegard moved that HF 4542 be laid over for possible inclusion in the Property Tax Division Report.

Representative Kozlowski presented HF 4542.

Chair Lislegard renewed his motion that HF 4542 be laid over for possible inclusion in the Property Tax Division Report. The bill was laid over.

Chair Lislegard moved that HF 5046 be laid over for possible inclusion in the Property Tax Division Report.

Representative Kotyza-Witthuhn presented HF 5046.

Testifying on the bill:
• Dave Lindahl, Economic Development Manager, City of Eden Prairie

Chair Lislegard renewed his motion that HF 5046 as amended be laid over for possible inclusion in the Property Tax Division Report. The bill was laid over.
