TRANSPORTATION FINANCE AND POLICY MINUTES

Representative Frank Hornstein, Chair of the Committee on Transportation Finance and Policy, called the meeting to order at 8:30 AM on March 5, 2024, in the Basement Hearing Room of the State Office Building.

The Committee Legislative Assistant noted the roll.

Representative Petersburg moved that the minutes of February 29, 2024, be adopted. THE MOTION PREVAILED.

HF 4237 (Lislegard) Marked U.S. Highway 169 portion between taconite and Virginia designated as Senator David J. Tomassoni Memorial Cross Range Expressway.

Chair Hornstein moved that HF 4237 be re-referred to the Committee on Ways and Means.

Representative Lislegard presented HF 4237.

Chair Hornstein renewed the motion that HF 4237 be re-referred to the Committee on Ways and Means. THE MOTION PREVAILED.

HF 4368 (Tabke) Criminal vehicular operation added to list of offenses requiring one-year waiting period for limited driver's license, requirement that invalidated licenses be physically clipped removed, and two-wheeled vehicle endorsements renamed to motorcycle endorsements.

Vice Chair Tabke moved HF 4368 before the Transportation Finance and Policy Committee.

Vice Chair Tabke presented HF 4368.

Vice Chair Tabke moved HF 4369 before the Transportation Finance and Policy Committee.

Representative Petersburg moved the H4369A1 amendment. THE MOTION PREVAILED. THE AMENDMENT WAS ADOPTED.

Vice Chair Tabke presented HF 4369 as amended.
