TRANSPORTATION FINANCE AND POLICY MINUTES

Representative Frank Hornstein, Chair of the Committee on Transportation Finance and Policy, called the meeting to order at 8:32 AM on March 14, 2024, in the Basement Hearing Room of the State Office Building.

The Committee Legislative Assistant noted the roll.

Representative Petersburg moved that the minutes of March 12, 2024, be adopted. THE MOTION PREVAILED.

HF 3858 (Rehm) Requirements related to active transportation, including regulation of electric-assisted bicycles and sales, requirements on complete streets, driver's education, and authority to issue certain citations amended.

Chair Hornstein moved that HF 3858 be re-referred to the Committee on Commerce Finance and Policy.

Chair Hornstein moved the H3858A3 amendment. THE MOTION PREVAILED. THE AMENDMENT WAS ADOPTED.

Representative Rehm presented HF 3858 as amended.
