TRANSPORTATION FINANCE AND POLICY MINUTES

Representative Frank Hornstein, Chair of the Committee on Transportation Finance and Policy, called the meeting to order at 8:31 AM on April 9, 2024, in the Basement Hearing Room of the State Office Building.

The Committee Legislative Assistant noted the roll.

Representative Olson moved that the minutes of April 4, 2024, be adopted. THE MOTION PREVAILED.

HF 4691 (Koegel) St. Paul; Metropolitan Council provided to indemnify Ramsey County and Ramsey County Regional Authority for excess liability resulting from rail-related incidents occurring at Union Depot.

Representative Koegel moved HF 4691 before the Committee on Transportation Finance and Policy.

Chair Hornstein moved HF 4004 before the Committee on Transportation Finance and Policy.

Chair Hornstein moved the H4004DE1 amendment.

Representative Keeler presented H4004DE1.

HF 4988 (Kraft) Requirements governing assessment of trunk highway projects for impacts on greenhouse gas emissions and vehicle miles traveled modified, technical advisory committee established, and money appropriated.

Representative Kraft moved the H4988A5 amendment. THE MOTION PREVAILED. THE AMENDMENT WAS ADOPTED.
