WAYS AND MEANS COMMITTEE MEETING MINUTES

Representative Liz Olson, Chair of the Committee on Ways and Means, called the meeting to order at 10:31 A.M. on, Monday, April 8, 2024, in Room 200 of the State Office Building.

The Committee Legislative Assistant noted the roll.

A quorum was present.

Vice Chair Edelson moved that the minutes of April 3, 2024, be approved. THE MOTION PREVAILED.

HF4392 (Fischer) HHS Policy Bill.

Chair Olson moved that HF 4392 be placed on the General Register.

Representative Fischer presented HF 4392.

Chair Olson moved the A12 amendment to HF 4392. THE MOTION PREVAILED. THE AMENDMENT WAS ADOPTED.

Representative Fischer presented HF 4392 as amended.

Chair Olson renewed the motion that HF 4392, as amended, be placed on the General Register. THE MOTION PREVAILED.

HF3508 (Hansen R) State land transfer fee provisions modified, land added to state parks, surplus state land sales and conveyances authorized, Upper Sioux Agency State Park deauthorized, and money appropriated.

Chair Olson moved that HF 3508 be placed on the General Register.

Chair Olson moved the H3508A3 amendment to HF 3508. THE MOTION PREVAILED. THE AMEDMENT WAS ADOPTED.

Representative Hansen presented HF 3508 as amended.

Chair Olson renewed the motion that HF 3508, as amended, be placed on the General Register. THE MOTION PREVAILED.

HF4661 (Wolgamott) Technical and policy changes made to workers' compensation hearing provisions, and Workers' Compensation Court of Appeals related provisions modified.

Chair Olson moved that HF 4661 be placed on the General Register.

Representative Wolgamott presented HF 4661.

Chair Olson renewed the motion that HF 4661 be placed on the General Register. THE MOTION PREVAILED.
