MINUTES


Representative Joe Atkins, Chair of the Committee, called the meeting to order at 4:04 P.M. on February 6, 2007, in the Basement Hearing Room of the State Office Building.

The Committee Legislative Assistant noted the roll.

A quorum was present.

Representative Sheldon Johnson moved that the minutes of January 18, 2007 and January 23, 2007 be adopted. THE MOTION PREVAILED.

HF 310 (Dill) Off-sales by brewpubs and small brewers regulations modified

Representative Johnson moved HF 310.

Representative Dill moved to orally amend HF 310 as follows: delete lines 3.29 through 3.31. THE AMENDMENT WAS ADOPTED.

Ken Thiemann of Two Harbors testified on HF 310.

Representative Atkins moved that HF 310, as amended, be laid over for possible inclusion in the omnibus liquor bill. THE MOTION PREVAILED.

HF 373 (Johnson, S.) intoxicating liquor license authorized.

Representative Johnson moved the H0373A1 amendment (attached). THE AMENDMENT WAS ADOPTED.

Representative Atkins moved that HF 373, as amended, be laid over for possible inclusion in the omnibus liquor bill. THE MOTION PREVAILED.

The meeting was adjourned at 4:24 P.M.
