MINUTES


Representative Joe Atkins, Chair of the Commerce and Labor Committee, called the meeting to order at 4:05 P.M. on March 18, 2008, in the Basement Hearing Room of the State Office Building.

The Committee Legislative Assistant noted the roll.

Representative Atkins called a recess of the Committee on Commerce and Labor at 4:07 p.m.

Representative Atkins re-called the Committee on Commerce and Labor to order at 4:09 p.m.


A quorum was present.


HF 3610 (Loeffler) Medical debt information regulated.

Representative Atkins moved HF 3610.

Representative Atkins moved the A08-1455 amendment. THE AMENDMENT WAS ADOPTED.

Representative Atkins moved that HF 3610, as amended, be recommended to pass and re-referred to the Committee on Public Safety & Civil Justice. THE MOTION PREVAILED.

SF 3147 (Rukavina) Accessible electronic information service for blind and disabled persons sunset repealed

Representative Atkins moved SF 3147.

The following people testified on SF 3147:

Representative Atkins moved that SF 3147 be recommended to pass to the Consent Calendar. THE MOTION PREVAILED.


Representative Simpson moved that the minutes of March 17, 2008 be adopted. THE MOTION PREVAILED.
