MINUTES


Representative Karen Clark, Chair, called the nineteenth meeting to order at 10:05 a.m. on Wednesday, March 7, 2007 in Room 5 of the State Office Building.

The Committee Legislative Assistant noted the roll.

Representative Clark called the meeting to order at 10:05 a.m.

A quorum was present.

Representative Benson moved that HF942 be laid over for possible inclusion in the omnibus bill.

HF942 (Davnie) HIV information and referral service provided, and money appropriated

Representative Davnie presented HF942 to the committee.

Representative Swails moved the amendment H0942A1. THE MOTION PREVAILED. THE AMENDMENT WAS ADOPTED.

The committee recognized the 9th grade students from Champlin Park High School.

Representative Benson renewed his motion that HF942 be laid over for possible inclusion in the omnibus bill, as amended. Hearing no objection, the bill was laid over.

Representative Moe moved that HF301 be laid over for possible inclusion in the omnibus bill.

Representative McFarlane moved that the minutes from Tuesday, March 6, 4:00 p.m. meeting, be approved as corrected. THE MOTION PREVAILED.

HF301 (Davnie) Blighted housing rehabilitation program established, and nuisance properties transferred to nonprofit housing organizations

Representative Davnie presented HF301 to the committee.

Representative Moe moved the delete everything amendment A07-0188. THE MOTION PREVAILED. THE AMENDMENT WAS ADOPTED.

Representative Anderson moved the oral amendment to HF301 as follows:
Following "preceding" on line 2.7
Delete "year." and replace with "365 days."
THE MOTION PREVAILED. THE AMENDMENT WAS ADOPTED.

Representative Moe renewed his motion that HF301 be laid over for possible inclusion in the omnibus bill. Hearing no objection, the bill was laid over.

The meeting was adjourned at 11:25 a.m.
