MINUTES


Representative Karen Clark, Chair, called the thirteenth meeting to order at 5:35 p.m. on Wednesday, February 21, 2007 in Room 5 of the State Office Building.

The Committee Legislative Assistant noted the roll.

Representative Clark called the meeting to order at 5:35 p.m.

A quorum was present.

Representative Moe moved that HF688 be laid over for possible inclusion in the omnibus bill.

HF688 (Moe) Regional emergency medical services programs funding provided

Representative Moe presented the bill.

Testifying in support:

Buck McAlpin, MN Ambulance Association
Paul Stelter, South-Central EMS

Representative Moe renewed his motion. Hearing no objection, the bill was laid over.

Representative McFarlane moved that the minutes of February 21, 10 a.m. meeting, be approved as corrected. THE MOTION PREVAILED.

Mary Hedges of the Emergency Medical Services Regulatory Board provided an overview of the organization and their budget.

Doug Green from the Department of Finance discussed the Governor's budget for the Emergency Medical Services Regulatory Board.

Roberta Opheim, Ombudsman for Mental Health and Developmental Disabilities provided an overview of the organization and their budget.


The meeting was adjourned at 7:04 p.m.
