MINUTES


Representative Solberg, Chair of Committee on Ways and Means, called the meeting to order at 6:00 pm on January 22, 2009 in Room 200 of the State Office Building.

The Committee Legislative Assistant noted the roll.

A quorum was present.

Representative Mahoney moved to lay HF4 on the table indefinitely.
THE MOTION PREVAILED

Representative Mahoney moved that SF4 be recommended to pass and be placed on the General Register.

Representative Mahoney presented SF4.

Testifying on SF4 was Lee Nelson from DEED.

Representative Mahoney renewed his motion that SF4 pass and be placed on the General Register.
THE MOTION PREVAILED

Representative Lencewski moved that HF95 be recommended to pass and be placed on the General Register.

Testifying on behalf of HF95 was Commissioner Einess, Commissioner of Revenue.

Representative Lencewski renewed her motion that HF95 be recommended to pass and be placed on the General Register.
THE MOTION PREVAILED

Representative Lyndon Carlson moved that HF56 be recommended to pass and be placed on the General Register.

Representative Hosch presented HF56.

Representative Carlson renewed his motion that HF56 pass and be placed on the General Register.
THE MOTION PREVAILED

Dana Badgerow, Commissioner of Administration presented the MN Milestone report of 2009.

The committee adjourned at 7:15 pm.
