Representative Lieder, Chair of the Transportation Finance and Policy Division, called the meeting to order at 4:32P.M. on Thursday, February 12, 2009 in Room 10 of the State Office Building.

The Committee Legislative Assistant noted the roll.

Rep. Newton moved adoption of the committee minutes from February 10, 2009. THE MOTION PREVAILED.

HF263 (Hausman) Central Corridor Line funding provided, bonds issued, and money appropriated. Rep. Hausman moved consideration of the bill and the following verbal amendment:

Page 1, line 7, delete "for a grant to the Ramsey County Railroad Authority"

THE MOTION PREVAILED. Rep. Lieder moved that HF263, as amended, be held over for possible referral to the Capital Investment Committee for inclusion in a bonding bill. THE MOTION PREVAILED.

The Department of Public Safety Budget Presentation was given by the following:
