MINUTES

Representative Kent Eken, Chair of the Environment Policy and Oversight Committee, called the meeting to order at 4:38 PM. On January 29, 2009, in Room 5 of the State Office Building.

The Committee Legislative Assistant noted the roll.

Representative Drazkowski moved that the minutes from January 27, 2009 be adopted. THE MOTION PREVAILED.

Chair Eken invited the following testifiers to provide testimony regarding Bovine Tuberculosis:

Joe Martin, Assistant Commissioner for the Minnesota Department of Agriculture
Dr. Bill Hartmann, Executive Director for the Board of Animal Health
Dr. Michelle Carstensen, Department of Natural Resources

Chair Eken invited the following testifiers to provide testimony regarding Chronic Wasting Disease:

Chair Eken invited the following testifiers to provide testimony regarding Viral Hemorrhagic Septicemia:
