Representative Paul Thissen, Chair of the Health Care and Human Services Policy and Oversight Committee, called the meeting to order at 3:20 P.M. on Wednesday, March 18, 2009 in Room 200 of the State Office Building.

The Committee Legislative Assistant noted the roll.

Representative Huntley moved that the minutes of March 17, 2009 be adopted. THE MOTION PREVAILED.

HF1554 (Winkler) Isolation and quarantine provisions and mass dispensing of medication provisions modified

Representative Thissen moved that HF1554 be recommended to pass and re-referred to the Committee on Civil Justice.

Representative Thissen moved the A09-0144 amendment. THE AMENDMENT WAS ADOPTED.

Representative Liebling moved to amend HF1554 as follows:

HF984 (Norton) Medical assistance coverage of primary care health care providers performing primary caries prevention services as part of the child and teen checkup program authorized

Representative Thissen moved that HF984 be taken off the table. THE MOTION PREVAILED.

Representative Norton moved that HF984 be recommended to pass and re-referred to the Committee on Finance.
