GOVERNMENT OPERATIONS AND ELECTIONS
MINUTES
Representative Murray, acting Chair of the Government Operations and Elections Committee, called the meeting to order at 10:14 a.m. on Wednesday, January 19, 2011 in Room 5 of the State Office Building.
The Committee Legislative Assistant noted the roll.

A quorum was present.
Representative Quam moved approval of the minutes from January 11, 2011 and January 18, 2011. THE MOTION PREVAILED AND THE MINUTES WERE APPROVED.
The Committee heard a presentation from the Minnesota Campaign Finance Board.

HF 4 (Downey) State workforce reduction required and early retirement program created.
Representative Beard moved that H.F. 4 be recommended to pass and be re-referred to the House Committee on State Government Finance.

Representative Beard renewed his motion that H.F. 4 be recommended to pass, as amended. THE MOTION PREVAILED. H.F. 4 WAS RECOMMENDED TO PASS, AS AMENDED, AND WAS RE-REFERRED TO THE HOUSE COMMITTEE ON GOVERNMENT FINANCE.
