Representative Cornish, Chair of the Public Safety and Crime Prevention Policy and Finance Committee, called the thirty-eighth meeting to order at 10:01 a.m. on Thursday, November 3, 2011, in Room 10 of the State Office Building.

The Committee Legislative Assistant noted the roll.

The committee heard testimony regarding the process that Department of Corrections Commissioner Tom Roy uses to grant parole to prison inmates who are serving life sentences.
