MINUTES

Representative Cornish, Chair of the Public Safety and Crime Prevention Policy and Finance Committee, called the thirty-ninth meeting to order at 10:15 a.m. on Thursday, January 26, 2012, in Room 10 of the State Office Building.

The Committee Legislative Assistant noted the roll.

Representative McDonald moved that the minutes of May 4, 2011, be approved. THE MOTION PREVAILED.

Representative Nornes assumed the gavel at 10:18 a.m.

HF1829 (Cornish) Authorizing County Attorneys and Assistant County Attorneys to carry firearms on duty under the terms of a permit to carry.

Representative Cornish moved that HF1829 be recommended to pass and sent to the General Register.

The committee heard testimony on HF1829.

Representative Cornish moved that HF1879 be recommended to pass and sent to the General Register.
