MINUTES

Representative Cornish, Chair of the Public Safety and Crime Prevention Policy and Finance Committee, called the forty-fourth meeting to order at 10:15 a.m. on Thursday, February 16, 2012, in Room 10 of the State Office Building.

HF1711 (Daudt) Forensic Laboratory Advisory Board provisions modified.

Representative Daudt moved that HF1711 be recommended to pass and re-referred to the Ways and Means Committee.

The committee heard testimony on HF1711.

Representative Daudt moved that the minutes of February 14, 2012, be approved. THE MOTION PREVAILED.

Representative Daudt moved the H1711A3 amendment. THE AMENDMENT WAS ADOPTED.

Representative Daudt renewed his motion that HF1711, as amended, be recommended to pass and re-referred to the Ways and Means Committee. THE MOTION PREVAILED.

HF2149 (Simon) Domestic violence-related offense qualifying definition expanded.

Chairman Cornish moved that HF2149 be recommended to pass and re-referred to the Judiciary Policy and Finance Committee.

The committee heard testimony on HF2149.

Representative Gruenhagen moved HF1958 before the committee.

The committee heard testimony on HF1958.
