MINUTES

Representative Fritz, Chair of Committee on Commerce and Consumer Protection Finance and Policy, called the meeting to order at 4:08 PM on March 12, 2014 in the Basement Hearing Room of the State Office Building.

The Committee Legislative Assistant noted the roll.

Rep. Davids moved that the minutes from the meeting on March 11, 2014 be approved. THE MOTION PREVAILED.

HF2177 (Ward) Tanning equipment limited to persons age 18 or older.

Rep. Fritz moved that HF2177 be re-referred to the General Register.

Rep. Hilstrom moved to orally amend HF2177 to add “.” after the phrase “petty misdemeanor”, and delete lines 2.16 and 2.17. THE AMENDMENT WAS ADOPTED.
