Representative Tina Liebling chaired and called to order the eighth meeting of the Health Care and Human Services Finance Committee at 10:08 a.m. on Thursday, January 31, 2013, in Room 200 of the State Office Building. A quorum was present.

Representative Newton moved approval of the January 29 and 30, 2013 minutes. The motion prevailed. The minutes were approved.
Representative Huntley moved H.F. 9 be recommended to pass and rereferred to the Committee on Ways and Means and further moved the
H0009DE2 amendment. The motion prevailed. The H0009DE-2 amendment was adopted.
Representative Huntley moved an oral amendment to the H0009DE2 amendment as follows:
Page 5, line 5.19, after the dollar sign insert "63,633,000" . The motion prevailed. The oral amendment was adopted.

Representative Abeler moved adoption of the
H0009A5 amendment. Representative Huntley moved an oral amendment to the H0009A5 amendment as follows:

Page 1, line 6, delete "under section 2001 of the Affordable Care Act"
Page 1, line 12, delete "enhanced" and insert "all"

Discussion occurred and Representative Abeler incorporated the Huntley oral amendment into his H0009A5 amendment. The motion prevailed. The H0009A5 amendment, as amended by incorporation, was adopted.
Representative Gruenhagen explained his
H0009DE1-1 amendment and Randall Chun, House Research Analyst further explained the H0009DE1-1 amendment. Discussion occurred.
Representative Gruenhagen moved adoption of the H0009DE1-1 amendment. The motion did not prevail. The amendment was not adopted.
Representative Huntley renewed his motion that H.F. 9, as amended, be recommended to pass and rereferred to the Committee on Ways and Means. The motion prevailed.
Vice-Chair Norton adjourned the meeting at 11:32 a.m.
