MINUTES

Chair Mahoney called the meeting to order at 12:35 PM, Tuesday, March 4, 2014 (without quorum) in Room 200 of the State Office Building.

The Committee Legislative Assistant noted the roll; and a quorum was present.

Rep. Gunther moved to re-refer HF2337 (Runbeck) to Capital Investment. Rep. Runbeck presented testifiers: Bryan Bear, City Administrator, Hugo, and Jay Kennedy, City engineer, Hugo. Motion prevailed.

Chair Mahoney re-called meeting to order at 12:44 pm with a quorum.

Rep. Ward moved to re-refer HF2043 (Ward) to Capital Investment. Motion prevailed.

Chair Mahoney moved to re-refer HF2040 (Ward) to Capital Investment. Motion prevailed.

Chair Mahoney moved HF2025 (Dehn) to be laid over for possible inclusion on the omnibus bill. Testifier: Ed McDonald, Council on Black Minnesotans.

Chair Mahoney moved HF2254 (Clark) to be laid over for possible inclusion on the omnibus bill. Testifiers: Mike Temali, CEO, Neighborhood Development Center, and Thomas Kim, Rabbit Hole.

Chair Mahoney moved to amend the February 27th minutes to include Rep. Persell, Rep. Leidiger, and Rep. Fabian, and moved to approve the minutes as amended. Motion prevailed.

Chair Mahoney adjourned the meeting at 2:08 pm.
