Representative Erin Murphy, Chair of the Committee, called the meeting to order at 9:55 AM on Friday, May 2, 2014, in Room 118 in the State Capitol.

The Committee Legislative Assistant noted the roll.

Representative Benson moved approval of the Thursday, May 1, 2014 minutes.

Chair Erin Murphy moved that the Proposed Calendar for the Day for Tuesday, May 6, 2014 be adopted.

The committee recessed at 9:58 AM.


The committee reconvened at 2:15 PM in room 200 of the State Office Building.


Chair Erin Murphy moved that Rule 2.03 of the Joint Rules be waived for SF 2470.


Representative Melin moved to re-refer SF 2470 to the Committee on Ways and Means.

Representative Melin moved to amend SF 2470 with the DE1 amendment.

Representative Ward moved to divide the A7 amendment between lines 1.5 and 1.6.

Representative Ward moved to amend SF 2470 with Part 1 of the A7 amendment.

Representative Ward moved to withdraw Part 2 of the A7 amendment.
