MINUTES

Representative Murphy, Chair of Committee on State Government Finance and Veterans Affairs, called the meeting to order at 12:32 p.m. January 14, 2013, in Room 200 of the State Office Building.

The Committee Legislative Assistant noted the roll.

All Members were present.

Chair Murphy presented introductory remarks.

Introduction of staff.

Mark Shepard, House Research presented an overview of the State Government Finance issues. Jim Cleary, House Research presented an overview of Veterans Affairs issues.
Helen Roberts, Fiscal Analyst presented an overview of the agencies and accounts within jurisdiction of the Committee.

Introduction of Members followed by

Science Museum: Tom Murphy
Historical Society: Andrea Hart Kajer, Dep. Director
CAAP Board: Nancy Stark, Exec. Director and Paul Mandell, Planner
Office of Administrative Hearings: Eric Lipman, Assistant Chief Administrative Law Judge

Chair Murphy announced that the remainder of the committee agenda would be continued at the next meeting on Wednesday, Jan. 16th.

The meeting was adjourned at 2:04 p.m.
