TRANSPORTATION POLICY COMMITTEE

MINUTES

Representative Erhardt, Chair of the Transportation Policy Committee called the meeting to order on Wednesday, March 12, 2014 at 2:25 PM in the Basement Hearing Room of the State Office Building.

The Committee Legislative Assistant noted the roll.

Rep. Hornstein moved the minutes of the meeting on March 11th, 2014. THE MOTION PREVAILS.

Rep. Laine presented HF2265, Secretary of state authorized to obtain data from the Public Safety Department, to share data, and money provided.

Rep. Laine moved to amend HF2265 (see attached H2265A2). THE MOTION PREVAILS.

Testifying on HF2265:
-John Lindback, Executive Director of ERIC (Electronic Registration Information Center)

Rep. Erhardt moved to recommend that HF2265, as amended, be re-referred to the committee on Atate Government Finance. THE MOTION PREVAILS.

Rep. Brynaert presented HF2092, Combat wounded veterans special motorcycle plates authorized.

Rep. Erhardt moved to recommend that HF2208 be re-referred to the Committee on Transportation Finance.

The committee recessed at 3:51PM and will reconvene at 6:30 PM in 300N.
