Representative Erhardt, Chair of the Transportation Policy Committee called the meeting to order on Tuesday, March 25th, 2014 at 2:27 PM in the Basement Hearing Room of the State Office Building.

Rep. Rosenthal moved approval of the minutes of March 21th, 2014. THE MOTION PREVAILED.

Rep. Masin moved to recommend that HF2751 be placed on the General Register.

Rep. Masin presented HF2751, Transportation Accessibility Advisory Committee Scope expanded.

Testifying on HF2751:
-Ron Biss, Chair of the Transportation Accessibility Advisory Committee.

Rep. Masin renewed her motion to recommend that HF2751 be re-referred to the General Register. THE MOTION PREVAILS.

Rep. Masin moved to recommend that HF2752 be re-referred to the Committee on Transportation Finance.

Rep. Masin moved to amend HF2752 (see attached H2752A1). THE MOTION PREVAILS.

Rep. Masin presented HF2752, Metropolitan Council required to adopt standards for light rail vehicles, Transportation Accessibility Advisory Committee approval of vehicle standards required, and report required.

Rep. Masin moved to recommend that HF2752, as amended, be re-referred to the Committee on Transportation Finance. THE MOTION PREVAILS.

Rep. Norton presented HF3059, Nonemergency medical transportation service provisions modified.

Rep. Erhardt moved to amend HF3059 (see attached HF3059A2). THE MOTION PREVAILS.

Rep. Erhardt moved to recommend that HF3059, as amended, be re-referred to the committee on HHS Finance. THE MOTION PREVAILS.

Rep, Bernardy presented HF3084, Transportation Department; reporting requirements eliminated; antiquated, unnecessary, redundant, and obsolete provisions eliminated and modernized; and conforming changes made.

Rep. Erhardt moved to amend HF3084 (see attached H3084A1). THE MOTION PREVAILS.

Rep. Beard moved to amend HF3084 (see attached HF3084A2). THE MOTION PREVAILS.

Rep. Ward presented HF1981, Snow removal authority in uncompleted subdivisions sunset eliminated.

Chair Erhardt moved to recommend that HF1981 be re-referred, as amened, to the General Register. THE MOTION PREVAILS.

Rep. Erhardt presented HF2995, Towing order requirements clarified.

Rep. Erhardt moved to amend HF2995 (see attached
H2995A1). THE MOTION PREVAILS.

Rep. Erhardt renews his motion that HF1981, as amended, be re-referred to the general register. THE MOTION PREVAILS.

Rep. Masin presented HF3038, Connector highway length limit removed, trunk highway contracts one-week bid advertisement period allowed, and state responsibility for bond payments to cities with population decline clarified.
