MINUTES

Representative Joe Hoppe, Chair of the Commerce and Regulatory Reform Committee, called the meeting to order at 2:50 PM on March 23, 2016 in the Basement Hearing Room of the State Office Building. A quorum was present.

The Committee Legislative Assistant noted the roll.

Representative Theis moved to approve the minutes of March 22, 2016. THE MOTION PREVAILED.

HF2478 (Albright)
Workers' Compensation Advisory Council recommendations adopted.

Chair Hoppe moved that HF2478 be re-referred to the Job Growth and Energy Affordability Committee.

HF2994 (Albright)
Retention limits modified.

Chair Hoppe moved that HF2994 be re-referred to the General Register.

Raffle boards provided.

Representative Sanders moved that HF3281 be re-referred to the General Register.

Representative Sanders renewed the motion that HF3281 be re-referred to the General Register. THE MOTION PREVAILED.

HF3102 (Swedzinski)
Gambling manager provisions modified, raffles provided, prize limits increased, and local regulation prescribed.

Representative Swedzinski moved that HF3102 be re-referred to the General Register.

Representative Swedzinski moved the A16-0870 amendment. THE MOTION PREVAILED AND THE AMENDMENT WAS ADOPTED.

Chair Hoppe moved that HF3384 be re-referred to the Civil Law Committee.
