MINUTES


Representative Joe Hoppe, Chair of the Commerce and Regulatory Reform Committee, called the meeting to order at 2:48 p.m. on February 18, 2015, in the Basement Hearing Room of the State Office Building.

The Committee Legislative Assistant noted the roll.

A quorum was present.

Representative Theis moved that the minutes of February 17, 2015 be adopted. THE MOTION PREVAILED.

HF385 (Hortman) Business conversion provisions modified.

Chair Hoppe moved to reconsider passage of HF385. THE MOTION PREVAILED.

Chair Hoppe amended his motion for referral, and moved that HF385 be re-referred to the Jobs and Energy Policy Committee. THE MOTION PREVAILED.

HF368 (Hilstrom) Debt buyers regulated.

Chair Hoppe moved to reconsider the passage of HF368. THE MOTION PREVAILED.

Chair Hoppe amended his motion for referral, and moved that HF368 be re-referred to the committee on State Government Finance. THE MOTION PREVAILED.

Overview of the Minnesota Health Insurance Exchange (MNsure) Evaluation Report.
