MINUTES
Representative Sanders, Chair of the Government Operations and Election Policy, called the meeting to order at 10:19 AM on March 19, 2015 in hearing room 10 in the State Office Building.

Representative Nash moved to approve the minutes from March 18, 2015.

HF 1406 (Hackbarth) Temporary water surface use controls provided, life jacket requirements modified, wake surfing regulated, compliance with federal law provided, provisions to take, possess, and transport wild animals modified, criminal penalties provided, rulemaking required, and reports required.

Chair Sanders moved to amend HF 1406 as follows:

HF 1168 (Hackbarth) Minnesota Valley Trail requirements established, deer hunting governing requirements modified, beaver season authorized, restrictions on using artificial lights to take fish modified, rulemaking authorized relating to spearing and northern pike, and distribution of survey information authorized.
