MINUTES


Representative Urdahl, Chair of the Capital Investment Committee, called the meeting to order at 9:30 AM on January 30, 2017, in the Room 10 of the State Office Building. A quorum was present.

The Committee Legislative Assistant noted the roll.

Representative Gunther moved the minutes, with a technical correction, from January 11, 2017 be approved. THE MOTION PREVAILED.


HF14 (Miller) Rural Finance Authority funding provided, bonds issued, and money appropriated.

Representative Miller moved HF14 be re-referred to the Committee on Ways and Means.

Representative Miller moved the H0014A1 amendment. THE MOTION PRVAILED.

Representative Hansen moved the H0014A2 amendment and requested a roll call vote. The results as follows:

Matt McDevitt, Loan Supervisor, Rural Finance Authority, testified in favor of HF14.

Carol Anderson, Rural Finance Authority Board Member, Dairy Farmer, testified in favor of HF14.

Representative Miller renewed his motion to re-refer HF14, as amended, to the Committee on Ways and Means. THE MOTION PREVAILED.

The meeting was adjourned at 10:13 AM.
