MINUTES

Representative Joe Hoppe, Chair of the Commerce and Regulatory Reform Committee, called the meeting to order at 3:00 PM on March 13, 2018, in the Basement Hearing Room of the State Office Building. A quorum was present.

The Committee Legislative Assistant noted the roll.

Representative Nash moved to approve the minutes from March 6, 2018. THE MOTION PREVAILED.

HF3198 (Haley) Legislative auditor requested to study and report on disparities in health insurance rates, and money appropriated.

Chair Hoppe moved that HF3198 be re-referred to the Health and Human Services Reform Committee.

Chair Hoppe moved the H3198A1 amendment. THE MOTION PREVAILED AND THE AMENDMENT WAS ADOPTED.

Representative Swedzinski moved the A18-0583 amendment. THE MOTION PREVAILED AND THE AMENDMENT WAS ADOPTED.

Representative Swedzinski moved an oral amendment to HF2363 as follows: On page 16, line 16.13, delete “2017” and inset “2018”. THE MOTION PREVAILED AND THE AMENDMENT WAS ADOPTED.
