MINUTES

Representative Drazkowski, Chair of the Property Tax and Local Government Finance Committee, officially called the meeting to order at 10:08AM on April 20th, 2018, in room 5 of the State Office Building. A quorum was present.

The Committee Legislative Assistant noted the roll.

Representative Lien moved the minutes from April 18th, 2018 be approved. THE MINUTES WERE APPROVED.

HF4408 (Anselmo) Special law tax increment financing authority provided.

Representative Whelan moved that HF4408 be laid over for possible inclusion in the omnibus bill.

Representative Whelan renewed her motion that HF4408 be laid over for possible inclusion in the omnibus bill. THE MOTION PREVAILED.

HF4434 (Hertaus) Fractional homestead required to be determined based on the percentage of ownership specified in the county land records.

Representative Hertaus moved that HF4434 be laid over for possible inclusion in the omnibus bill.

Representative Lien offered the following oral amendment to the HF465A4 Amendment: P. 1, L. 1.1, strike “First Engrossment” and in its place insert “The delete everything amendment (A18-0818)”. THE AMENDMENT TO THE AMENDMENT WAS NOT ADOPTED.

Representative Lien moved the HF465A12 Amendment.

Representative Lien withdrew the HF465A12 Amendment.

Representative Marquart moved the HF465A21 Amendment. THE AMENDMENT WAS ADOPTED.

Representative Marquart moved the HF465A8 Amendment. THE AMENDMENT WAS ADOPTED.

Representative Hertaus moved the HF465A11 Amendment. THE AMENDMENT WAS ADOPTED.

Representative Carlson moved to add HF4218 as an amendment to HF465.

Representative Lien withdrew the HF4218 Amendment.

Representative Hertaus moved the HF465A20 Amendment. THE AMENDMENT WAS ADOPTED.

Representative Loeffler moved the HF465A13 Amendment. THE AMENDMENT WAS NOT ADOPTED.

Representative Youakim moved the HF465A9 Amendment.

Representative Youakim withdrew the HF465A9 Amendment.

Representative Lien moved to add HF3493 as an amendment to HF465. Representative Lien requested a roll call vote. The results as follows:
