MINUTES

Representative Peppin, Chair of the Subcommittee on Workplace Safety and Respect, called the meeting to order at 9:00 A.M. on March 5, 2018, in Room 120 of the State Capitol.

The Committee Legislative Assistant noted the roll.

Members excused:

Representative Peppin called the meeting to order at 9:00 A.M. A quorum was present.

Representative Fenton moved to approve the minutes of February 26, 2018. THE MOTION PREVAILED.

Pat McCormack, Director, Minnesota House of Representatives Research Department, testified on the House Code of Conduct and Ethics policies and procedures.

Mary Mullen, Legislative Analyst, Minnesota House of Representatives Research Department, testified on the House Code of Conduct and Ethics policies and procedures.

Representative Erickson, Chair of the Ethics Committee, testified on the House Code of Conduct and Ethics policies and procedures.

The subcommittee held an informational hearing on the PERMRULES-A03 amendment.
Representative Lesch and Rep. O’Neill presented on the proposed amendment to the Permanent Rules of the House of Representatives.

Shelia Engelmeier, Attorney, Engelmeier & Umanah testified on harassment policies and procedures.

The meeting was adjourned at 10:43 A.M.
