MINUTES

Representative Winkler, Chair of the Rules and Legislative Administration Committee, called the remote meeting to order at 11:17 AM on Tuesday, May 12, 2020, pursuant to House rule 10.01.

The Committee Legislative Assistant noted the roll.

Representative Winkler called the meeting at 11:17 am. A quorum was present.

Representative Her moved that the minutes of Monday, May 11, 2020 be approved. THE MOTION PREVAILED.

Representative Her moved to approve the calendar for Thursday, May 14, 2020. THE MOTION PREVAILED.


Representative Her moved that Pursuant to Joint Rule 2.03 and Senate Concurrent Resolution 6, committee deadlines for future action on the following bills be waived and re-referred to their next stop.

HF4540 (Mariani) Ways and Means
HF3804 (Layman) General Register

THE MOTION PREVAILED.

Representative Her moved to approve the 2020-R21A: Emergency Sick Leave During Widespread Illness. Kelly Knight, Director of Human Resources of the Minnesota House of Representatives Human Services Department, testified on the Resolution. THE MOTION PREVAILED.

Representative Her moved to approve 2020-R18: Resolution on Parking. Bob Meyerson, Chief Sergeant at Arms of the Minnesota House of Representatives, testified on the Resolution. THE MOTION PREVAILED.

Representative Her moved to approve the 2020-R17: Resolution on Facilities Parking. Bob Meyerson, Chief Sergeant at Arms of the Minnesota House of Representatives, testified on the Resolution. THE MOTION PREVAILED.

Representative Her moved to approve 2020-R19: Journal Resolution. Patrick Duffy Murphy, Chief Clerk of the House at the Minnesota House of Representatives, testified on the Resolution. THE MOTION PREVAILED.

Representative Her moved to approve 2020-R22A: Resolution on Waiver of Dates. Patrick McCormack, Director, House Research - Research Department at the Minnesota House of Representatives, testified on the Resolution. THE MOTION PREVAILED.
