MINUTES

Representative Hansen, Chair of the Environment and Natural Resources Finance Division, called the meeting to order at 12:48 P.M. on March 7th, 2019, in Hearing Room 5 of the State Office Building.

The Committee Legislative Assistant noted the roll.

Chair Hansen called the meeting to order at 12:48 P.M. A quorum was present.

Representative Lee moved to approve the minutes of March 5th, 2019. THE MOTION PREVAILED.

Lisa Anne Hamilton, Center for International Environment Law, presented on plastics.

HF1251 (Wagenius) University of Minnesota climate study funding provided, and money appropriated.

Representative Wagenius moved HF1251 be recommended to be re-referred to the Committee on Ways and Means with recommended referral to the Division on Energy and Climate Finance and Policy.

Beth Tomlinson, Facility Sustainability and Resilience Leader, TKDA

Representative Wagenius renewed the motion that HF1251 be recommended to be re-referred to the Committee on Ways and Means with recommended referral to the Division on Energy and Climate Finance and Policy. THE MOTION PREVAILED.

Vice Chair Claflin assumed the gavel at 1:46 P.M.

HF1928 (Hansen) Clean Water Fund funding provided, and money appropriated.

Chair Hansen moved HF1928 to be laid over for future consideration.

Chair Hansen renewed the motion that HF1928 be laid over for future consideration. The bill was laid over.

The meeting was adjourned at 2:21 P.M.
