MINUTES

Representative Hansen, Chair of the Environment and Natural Resources Finance Division, called the meeting to order at 12:45 P.M. on March 26th, 2019, in Hearing Room 5 of the State Office Building.

The Committee Legislative Assistant noted the roll.

Chair Hansen called the meeting to order at 12:45 P.M. A quorum was present.

Representative Morrison moved to approve the minutes of March 21st, 2019. THE MOTION PREVAILED.

HF1706 (Lippert) Soil and water conservation districts duties and services specified.

Chair Hansen moved that HF1706 be recommended to be returned to the Committee on Ways and Means.

Chair Hansen renewed the motion that HF1706 be recommended to be returned to the Committee on Ways and Means. THE MOTION PREVAILED.

HF1314 (Lippert) Department of Health’s source water protection program expanded to include rivers and drinking water sources for private wells, and money appropriated.

Representative Fischer moved to adopt the Water Division Report on HF1314. THE MOTION PREVAILED.

Chair Hansen moved that HF1314 be recommended to be returned to the Committee on Ways and Means with a recommended re-referral to the Health and Human Services Finance Division.

Representative Ecklund moved that HF2505 be laid over for possible inclusion in an omnibus bill.

Chair Hansen moved HF2032 for consideration before the committee.
