Representative Lesch, Chair of the Judiciary Finance and Civil Law Division Committee, called the meeting to order at 9:47 a.m. on Thursday, March 14, 2019 in Room 10 of the State Office Building.

The Committee Legislative Assistant noted the roll.

Representative Lesch began the meeting at 9:47 a.m. A quorum was present.

Representative Considine moved the minutes from March 13, 2019 for approval. THE MOTION PREVAILED.


HF 998 (Ecklund) Sentencing veterans for criminal offenses related to a service-related disorder court guidance provided.

Representative Xiong motioned to re-refer HF 998 to the Ways and Means Committee.

Representative Moller moved the A1 amendment. THE MOTION PREVAILED.

Representative Lucero moved the A2 amendment.

Representative Lucero withdrew the A2 amendment.

Representative Ecklund presented HF 998 to the committee.

Representative Xiong renewed his motion to re-refer HF 998 to the Ways and Means Committee. THE MOTION PREVAILED.

Representative Lesch moved HF 631 be recommended to be placed on the General Register.

Representative Lesch moved the DE3 amendment. THE MOTION PREVAILED.
