Representative Lesch, Chair of the Judiciary Finance and Civil Law Division Committee, called the meeting to order at 9:30 a.m. on Friday, March 15, 2019 in Room 120 of the State Capitol Building.

The Committee Legislative Assistant noted the roll.

Representative Lesch began the meeting at 9:30 a.m. A quorum was present.

Representative Considine moved the minutes from March 14, 2019 for approval. THE MOTION PREVAILED.


HF 1065 (Lesch) Revisor's bill; miscellaneous technical corrections made; erroneous, obsolete, and omitted text and references corrected; and redundant, conflicting, and superseded provisions removed.

Representative Lesch motioned to recommend HF 1065 be placed on the General Register.

Representative Lesch moved the A19-0219 amendment. THE MOTION PREVAILED.

Representative Lesch renewed his motion to recommend HF 1065 be placed on the General Register. THE MOTION PREVAILED.

HF 1246 (Morrison) Prescription Drug Price Transparency Act

Representative Noor moved to recommend HF 1246 be re-referred to the Ways and Means Committee.

Representative Noor renewed his motion to recommend HF 1246 be re-referred to Ways and Means. THE MOTION FAILED.



HF 1955 (Moller) Predatory offender registration provisions amended, Statewide Emergency Communication Board provisions modified, and wheelchair securement device requirements modified.

Representative Carlson moved to recommend HF 1955 be re-referred to the Public Safety Committee.

Representative Carlson presented HF 1955 to the committee.
