STATE GOVERNMENT FINANCE & ELECTIONS COMMITTEE MINUTES

Representative Michael V. Nelson, Chair of the Committee, called the virtual State Government Finance & Elections Committee meeting to order at 8:30 AM, February 11, 2021 pursuant to House rule 10.01. The meeting was conducted over Zoom and broadcast via House Public Information Services and Facebook Live.

The Committee Legislative Assistant noted the roll.

Representative Carlson moved that the minutes from the committee meeting on February 9, 2021 be approved. THE MOTION PREVAILED.

Chair Nelson referred bills to the Local Government Division in February 9, 2021 Memo.

Chair Nelson moved HF75 be referred to the committee on Environment Finance & Policy.

HF75 (Moller); limiting vehicles and other property subject to forfeiture; providing for recovery of property by innocent owners; modifying participation in the federal equitable sharing program; requiring reports; appropriating money.

Chair Nelson moved Amendment H0075A4. THE MOTION PREVAILED. THE AMENDMENT WAS ADOPTED.
